He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest and Matilda; his daughter Nancy Bjustrom; his brother Gerald; and his sister-in-law Elvera Whisler.

He is survived by: his wife Betty; his daughter Cindy Bunge (Steven); his grandsons, Mark and Jeff Bunge (Jacqueline); and his sister Lorraine Fielder (Harold). He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to a charity of your choice.
