She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. George Shey and Mary Shey. She is survived by: her husband Dan; her children, Dr. Elizabeth Trepp (Chad Gubbels) of Ankeny, Madeleine Trepp of Ankeny and Daniel C. Trepp of Clarion; her grandchildren, Coraline, Sullivan and Audrey; and her siblings, Micheleen Staudt (David) of Cedar Falls, Brian Shey (Monica) of Chicago, IL, Mark Shey of Kenosha, WI, Erin Tasler (Greg) of Webster City, Georgeann Ligori (Keith) of Tampa, FL and Dr. Michael Shey (Teresa) of Webster City. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Kellee's memory to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School or the Dravet Syndrome Foundation.
