He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Merle and Karna M. Kane (Peterson); and his siblings, Michael Kane, Heidi Kane and Shelly Kane.
He is survived by: his daughter Renate Venegas (Jammie) of Webster City; and his grandchildren, Aubrey, Cody, Jasmin, Lila and Emma Venegas. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
