He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob F. Peterson and A. Irene Peterson (Weinga); his son Jeffrey Scott Peterson; his sister Barbara Ranney; and his brother-in-law Ed Ranney.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Anderson of Swea City; his children, Tari Brandt (Rod) of Ledyard and Todd Peterson (Kristi) of Rockford; his grandchildren, Cassidy Wolfe (Josh), Chase Brandt (Tomarah), Cierra Thiesse (Tanner), Emily Peterson (Eric Horstman) and Megan Peterson (Codie Gordon); his great grandchildren, Ariana, Elyse Wolfe, Kyannah, Karsyn and Kyser Brandt; and his siblings, Kathy Abbas (Larry) of Florence, AZ, Duane Peterson (Marie) of Apache Junction, AZ, Robert Peterson (Ann) of Cottonwood, AZ and Paul Peterson (Ginger) of Scottsdale, AZ. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
