He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Hanson and Hattie Hanson (Nervig); his daughter Stefani Menage; his siblings, Lorna Richardson, Lloyd Hanson, Orpha Walker, Helen Bahr and Marjorie Hames; and his parents-in-law, Dwight and Mildred Brower.
He is survived by: his wife Karin May Brower; his children, Honey Sue Heater of Marion, IA and Eric Hanson (Shelly) of Webster City; his grandchildren, Nate Heater (Laura Vincent), Katy Anderson (Nate) and Aidan Hanson; his great grandchildren, Connor Heater and Zoey Anderson; and his sister Dorothy Olson of California. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends.
