With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Dyvig Culmer (Webster City, Iowa), who passed away on December 1, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Laugerman and Dena Wellman Laugerman; her former husband Clifford Dyvig of Webster City; her husband Clyde Culmer of Woolstock; her daughter Becky Liston; and her stepson Steve Culmer.

She is survived by: her children, Dale Dyvig of Webster City, Jerry Dyvig (Marj) of Edmond, OK and Lanette Taylor (Brian) of Honolulu, HI; and her stepchildren, Nancy Whitaker (Steve) of Ankeny, Susan Grove (Phil) of Van Meter and Daniel Culmer (Karen). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; 11 step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Glady's memory to Congregate Meals, 604 Prospect St., Webster City, IA 50595.

“Our parents Emerson LeVay and Belva Frances were lifelong friends of Gladys and her husbands who preceded Gladys. After moving to Des Moines, 1959, they 9and their three sons, visited often during visits to Webster City After our dad's passing 2005, mom continued visiting or chatting on phone. Those were special times. Mom always gave us updates. As you know, Dale and Bob continue catching-up on our lives. Mom's passing on September 27, 2020 now allows everyone to visit in heaven.”
