With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Scribbins (Webster City, Iowa), born in Everly, Iowa, who passed away on September 23, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Jessen (Swede) and Alice Jessen (Fell); her husband Edward C. Scribbins; and her brothers, Paul Edward Jessen and Ellis Jessen (Jim).
She is survived by: her children, Michael Scribbins (Julie), Mark Scribbins (Lynne), Lynda Scribbins (Michael Bear) and Thomas Scribbins (Kathryn); her grandchildren, Joshua, Sarah Scribbins, Joseph Scribbins (Tara), Matthew Scribbins, Laura Bui (Jason), Vincent, Philip and Daniel Scribbins; her great grandchildren, Elisha, Edward, Ezra Scribbins and Kennedy Bui; and her brother Gerald Jessen (Kay). She is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews.
In one of her last conversations, she said, "Isn't this social distancing great? It keeps everyone safe!". Due to Covid, no Memorial or Mass is planned at this time.
