She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Thompson and Lillian Thompson (Leopold); her spouse Estelle Brownfield; her son Gary; her siblings, Cecil Thompson (Virginia), Mae Butler (Alvin), Jean Campidlli (Maundo) and Darlene Rasmussen; and her daughter-in-law Bonnie Brownfield.
She is survived by: her children, Larry of Des Moines, Jerry (Carla) of Grove, OK and Dot (Danny) of Carson City, NV; her grandchildren, Brenda Dentlinger (Keith) of Brookings, SD, Mark Brownfield of Des Moines, Scott Brownfield (Leslie) of Collins, IA, Kristy Brownfield (Sue) of Neosho, MO and Priscilla Parker of Kansas City, MO; her great grandchildren, Kendall Dentlinger, Alex Brownfield, Troy Haan, Seth, Caleb, Noah Parker, Felix Brownfield, Alex Olson, Bradley, Jonathan Hardin, Skylar Dentlinger and Emma Olson; her great great grandchildren, Maggie and Penny Haan; and her brother-in-law Dan Rasmussen of Des Moines.
She volunteered at Southfield Wellness Community and at RSVP.
