She was predeceased by: her husbands, Dean Sorenson and Roland Hammen; her parents, Louis Scheidegger and Irene Scheidegger; and her brother Dennis Scheidegger.
She is survived by: her children, Deb Eccles (Matt) of Centennial, CO, Chuck Sorenson (Faye) of Crestview, FL, Shelley Sorenson of Polk City, IA, Jill Sorenson and Donna; her brother Dale Scheidegger (Betty); her grandchildren, Stephanie Rosenthal (Mike), Jason Eccles, Dale Sorenson, Donna Rose Sorenson, Jonathan Klaassen (Allison), Tina Klaassen, Josh Oswald (Starr) and Haylee DeNubbila (Angelo); and her brothers-in-law, Blair Sorenson (Donna) and Gene Sorenson (Nancy). She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, many family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Palmer-Swank Funeral Home (528 Main St, Rockwell City, IA 50579). A Mass will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Saint Thomas Catholic Church (1076 8th St, Manson, IA 50563). A burial will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at the Union Cemetery (1949 Marengo Ave, Pomeroy, IA 50575).
