He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Best and Lola Best (McCollough); and his sister Betty Ringer (George). He is survived by: his wife Darlene Evelyn Hensley; his children, Kirk Best (Pam), Kreg Best and Kristi Mendoza (Milton); and his grandchildren, Jason, Chad, Kaitlin, Kelli, Andrew, Jessie and Heidi. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
