In the sacred silence of farewell, Dena is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Dena's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Meyering and Henrietta Meyering (Jansen); her husband Kenneth Leo Flygstad; and her sisters, Eveline Peck and Pauline Harp.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Flygstad of Webster City and Carole Flygstad Gougeon (Richard) of Albany, OR. She is also survived by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
