He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Toftee and Ruth Toftee (Schoenfisch); his siblings, Becky Wilson and Dale Toftee; his granddaughter Madison Toftee; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Wilson and Marsha Toftee.
He is survived by: his sons, David Toftee Jr. (Heather K. Toftee) of Webster City and Mike Toftee (Kim Toftee) of Webster City; his grandchildren, Ryan Toftee, Jordyn Toftee, Aryana Toftee and Jesse Toftee; and his brothers, John Toftee (Deb) of Georgia, Mark Toftee of Webster City and Jim Toftee of Webster City. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
