He was predeceased by: his father Charles "Chuck" McFarland; and his brother-in-law Kenny Scott. He is survived by: his mother Linda McFarland (Weber) of Webster City; his wife Christine Beth Scott; his children, Josh McFarland (Megan) of Webster City, Jenna Anderson (Jacobey) of Britt and Jordan McFarland (Tayviah) of Webster City; his grandchildren, Scarlett and Elliott; his sisters, Julie Foster (Mark) of Sioux City, Kathy Smith (Randy) of Duncombe and Shelly Bergeson (Dave) of Webster City; his parents-in-law, Vona Scott of Webster City and Earl "Scotty" Scott (Kennetta) of Davenport; and his siblings-in-law, Jeff Scott (Kim) of Ellsworth and Deena Scott (Jeremy) of Davenport. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
