He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Brown and Luella Brown (Brockman); his wife Pearl Jean Gilbert; his sister Viola Reddel (Eldon); his sister-in-law Deb Gilbert; and his nieces, Brenda Krech and Julie Leed.
He is survived by: his children, Troy Brown (Sondra) of Wallingford, Jody Draeger (Wayne) of Kamrar and Jamie Brown of Lincoln, NE; his grandchildren, Hunter Brown (Sydney), Cory Fisher, Peyton Brown, Rodrick Fuller, Abbey Pruismann (Jacob), Mason Groves (MacKenzie), Dylan Draeger, Emory Brown, Eli Brown and Micayla Brown; his great grandchildren, Myles Fisher, Avery Brown, Maren, Landrey Pruismann and Baby Groves; his siblings, Charlie Brown (Ilene) of Mason City and Hazel Lenz of Leander, TX; and his brothers-in-law, Ron Gilbert (Connie) of Webster City, Larry Gilbert (Paulelda) of Fort Dodge, Jim Gilbert of Fort Dodge and Gary Gilbert of Fort Dodge. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Legion Post 191 or Boone Valley Ikes.
