He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Olson and Florence Olson (Test); his wife Mary Alice Symes; his son Todd Olson; and his sister Betty Jean Olson.
He is survived by: his children, Vicki Stearns (Tim) of Steamboat Rock, Kristi Kobrin (Stan) of Rockledge, FL, Beth Moore (Steve) of Huntersville, NC and Mark Olson (Bonnie) of Webster City; his grandchildren, Seth Stearns (Dennette), Tami Feickert (Wade), Haylee Burnham (Kris), Garrett Moore and Nickolas Olson; and his great grandchildren, Lucas, Emma Stearns, Gage, Gavin Feickert and Andrew Burnham.
