She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugen Messerly and Mary Messerly (Myers); her former husband Elvin Johnson, Sr.; her husband Herman Schweertman; her brothers, Richard, James and Wilbert; her daughter Robin; her grandson Bobby Johnson; and her brother-in-law Lloyd Timm.
She is survived by: her son Elvin Johnson (Robin) of Webster City; her grandchildren, Brian Johnson of Fort Dodge, Brady Johnson of Webster City and Amiee Kelly of Fort Dodge; her stepgrandchildren, Amanda Eberle (Jon) of Webster City, Christina, Mike Storm of Webster City and Tara Sweazy (Jessie) of Webster City; and her sisters, Cindy Timm of Webster City and Mary Annette Johnson of Longville, MN.. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
