He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Shehorn and Lillian Shehorn (Lough); his wife Marcy Proctor; his daughter Sheryl Shehorn; his daughter-in-law Denise Shehorn; his brother James R. Shehorn; and his brother-in-law Richard Rasmussen.
He is survived by: his son Shelby Shehorn (Virginia) of Webster City; his grandchildren, Nathan Shehorn (Katie), Emily Jensen (Dan), Elizabeth Smoyer (Brent), Brenden Berleen (Tom), John Berleen, Whitney Gray and Benjamin Mingus; and his sister Norma Rasmussen of Webster City. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
