She was predeceased by: her parents, Kyle and Mona (Morgan); and her brothers, Aaron Gerstenberger of Douglasville, GA and Lowell Arthur. She is survived by: her caregiver Dean; her husband Dean Bowden of Winthrop, IA; her children, Jeff (Stefany) of Prescott, AZ and Janna Heater (Darren) of Indianola; her brother Duane Gerstenberger (Mary) of Seattle, WA.; and her grandchildren, Nick Bowden (Lauren), Elizabeth Fishbaugh (Cory), Riley, Connor Bowden, Zach Heater (Natalie) and Adam Heater.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to YSS Hamilton County or the Kendall Young Library Foundation.
