He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlyn "Tink" and Ruth Kinney Westerbeck; and his brother Stanley. He is survived by: his former wife Cynthia Sue Swan; his son Christopher L. Westerbeck (Sarah) of Katy, Texas; his grandchildren, Rachel, Alexander, Emily and Emma; and his siblings, Randolph of Hudson, Florida and Linda Kay Bolick of New Port Richey, Florida..
According to his wishes, his body has been cremated and a private family service will be held at Elliott Chapel, New London in keeping with the Governor's executive order during the COVID-19 health crisis.
