He is survived by: his children, John Leichty (Nancy) of Ft. Wayne, IN, Audrey Platt of Iowa City, Carma Baughman (Ben) of Washington, IA, Helen Meth (Mike) of Loveland, CO, Keith Leichty (Mary) of Mullica Hill, NJ and Wayne Leichty (Melia) of Avon, IN; and his siblings, Anna Lewis of West Liberty, IA, Kenneth Leichty (Kathy) of Wellman, IA, Wilbur Leichty (Deb) of Wayland, IA, Roger Leichty (Evie) of Harrisonburg, VA and Phyllis Schlatter (Emil) of Mt. Pleasant, IA.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Eicher Mennonite Church (2670 330th St, Wayland, IA 52654). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Eicher Emmanuel Mennonite Church (2670 330th St, Wayland, IA 52654).
A memorial fund has been established for Eicher Emmanuel Mennonite Church and Gideons International.
