She was predeceased by: her parents, Gideon K. Fisher and Mary Fisher (Chambers); her grandson Carey Meth; her son-in-law Shawn Platt; and her siblings, Kenneth, John Fisher, Mabel and Rachel Fisher.
She is survived by: her husband Orlin Leichty of Wayland; and her children, John Leichty (Nancy) of Ft. Wayne, IN, Audrey Platt of Iowa City, Carma Baughman (Ben) of Washington, IA, Helen Meth (Mike) of Loveland, CO, Keith Leichty (Mary) of Charlotte, NC and Wayne Leichty (Melia) of Avon, IN. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 4 great-grandson, and 3 great-granddaughters.
A memorial fund has been established for Eicher Mennonite Church and Gideons International.
