He is survived by: his wife Mildred Rich of Wayland; his children, Marlene Smith (Dennis) of Davenport, IA, Linda Tippie (Matt) of Wimauma, FL and Dwight Jr. Manning (Debbie) of Grandview, IA; his siblings, Shirley Butler (Jim) of Brighton, CO, Kenny Baker (Susan) of Pleasant Plain, IA, Karen Pickering of Washington, IA, Ed Baker (Kathy) of Wayland, IA, Betty Jean "Bess" Arduser of Wayland, IA, Ferrell Ulin (Bill) of Washington, IA, Sandy Capps (Paul) of Davenport, IA, Esther Johnson (Dave) of Fort Madison, IA, Marilyn Smothers (Brad) of Riverside, IA and Connie Berg (Rick) of Coralville, IA; his grandchildren, Tiffany Milder (Jeremie), Justin Manning (Stephanie), Heather McAnally (Brad), Amanda Schaub (Justin), Lindsey Smith (Brian Kucha) and Adam Smith (Jihane Bouchareb); and his great grandchildren, Kendal Manning, Weston Manning, Owen Manning, Amelia Manning, Logan McAnally, Julian Kucha and Amira Smith.
A memorial fund has been established for the Cottonwood Methodist Church.
