He was predeceased by: his parents, John Arbogast and Ada Arbogast (Turner); and his brothers, Howard, Richard and Edwin Arbogast.
He is survived by: his sisters, Elizabeth Troutman of Wayland, Mildred Wilson (Bill) of Ainsworth and Dorothy Jacob of Wellman; his sister-in-law Fonda Arbogast of Mt. Pleasant; and his brothers, Charles Arbogast (Ruth) of Washington, Johnie Arbogast of Washington and Stanley Arbogast (Shelly) of Washington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established for Wayland Fire and Rescue.
