Chorpening and Zitta Chorpening (Bush); his spouses, Linda Christian and Cindy Warren; his children, David Chorpening, Jr. of Washington, Shawn Chorpening of Little Rock, AR, Aaron Chorpening of Washington and Tracy Chorpening (Sara) of Cedar Falls; his stepchildren, Angie Reighard of Nevada, IA, Lea Reighard of Springfield, MO and Chris Reighard of Washington; his grandchildren, Zach Richardson and Kieran Chorpening; his stepgrandchildren, Blake, Jake, Matt, Sami, Justus, Shaylea and Cole; his siblings, Arlene Wheeler of Coralville, Angela McKune (Gary) of Cabool, MO, Richard Chorpening (Anna) of Washington, Russell Chorpening, Jr. of Kalona and Wilba Jean Reschly (Orlin); and his siblings-in-law, Lydia Chorpening and Robert Wheeler. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews and great nieces.
