He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Swartzendruber and Velma Hershberger; his wife Beulah Graber (Pud) of Wayland; and his siblings, Lucille Brenneman, Arliss and Ken Swartzendruber.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susie (John Hamiel) and Sara (Calvin Eigsti); his grandchildren, Aaron Lehman, Kareem Lehman (Katherine), Megan Eigsti (Nate O'Leary) and Allison Eigsti; his great grandchildren, Aspen and Josephine Lehman; and his siblings, Margaret Beikman, Mary Althaus and Duane Swartzendruber.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Mennonite Central Committee or Hillcrest Academy (formerly Iowa Mennonite School).
