Wendell Alvin Lampe Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wendell Alvin Lampe of Waverly, Iowa, born in Bremer, Iowa, who passed away on November 4, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Lampe and Martha Lampe (Brandt); his wife Dorothy Lampe; his son-in-law James Simpson; his grandson Scott Simpson; his great grandchild Emma Lampe; and his siblings, Arlene Beckel, Verla Broderson, Velda Darrah and Kenneth Lampe.
He is survived by: his children, Eugene Lampe (Marlene) of Hampton, Roger Lampe (Ruth) of Waverly, Dan Lampe (Judy) of Waverly and Bonnie Simpson of Waverly. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to St. Paul's Lutheran Church and School.
