With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernon H. Buchholz of Waverly, Iowa, born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on May 17, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlene Louise (Buhrow) and Leo William Buchholz; his sisters, Elaine Buchholz and Rosalee Leuenberger; his brother-in-law Wendell Redies; and his nephew Mitchell Blasberg.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Mae Adelmund; his children, Troy Buchholz (Deatra) of Waverly, Teresa Rowland (Jared) of Dyersville and Tracy Buchholz (Theresa Drewis) of Tripoli; his grandchildren, Kaylee, Kaleb Rowland and Cody Vern Buchholz; and his siblings, David Buchholz (Linda) of Waverly, James Buchholz (Mike Adrian) of Waterloo, Shirley Redies, Betty Nelson (Dave), Joann Blasberg (Darrell), Diane Schmit (Lyle) and Sandra Wilkens (Gary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. John's United Church of Christ, Siegel.
