She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ragsdale and Laura Ragsdale (Kirkpatrick); her grandchildren, Brian Westendorf and Whitney Bohlen; her great grandchildren, Kolton Bohlen and Halle Bohlen; and her siblings, Naomi Mathews, Ben, James, Ray and Ralph Ragsdale.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Bohlen (Linda) of Denver, Patty Franzen of Shell Rock, Susan Nenow of Waterloo, Janet Westendorf of Ankeny, John R. Bohlen (Kristi) of Janesville and Bill Bohlen of Shell Rock; and her sisters-in-law, Beverly Bohlen of Spring Hills and Norma Franken of Plainfield. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchild.
