He was predeceased by: his father Marvin "Bud" Nolte. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Nolte (Korte) of Waverly; his brothers, Jeff Nolte (Gina) of LaJunta and Doug Nolte of Janesville; his nieces, Danika Nolte (Sable) and Kelsey Blasberg (Curtis); and his nephew Adam Nolte.
