He was predeceased by: his parents, James Darrah and Zona Darrah (Stevens); his parents-in-law, Lloyd and Lavonne Moeller; his sons, John Lee and Michael Craig Darrah; and his brother-in-law Rand E. Renner.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn Moeller of Waverly; his children, Steven James Darrah (Jaime) of Shell Rock, Ryan Kuhrt (Leah) of Des Moines, Kiersten Foster (Aaron) of Waverly, Lauren Peters (Jarod) of Dysart and Morgan Kuhrt of Waverly; his grandchildren, Katelin Dennie (Nick), Ryan Darrah, Jonathan Darrah, Shiloh Darrah, Winston Peters and Lennox Peters; his great grandchildren, Hadley and Hazel; his sisters, Sherri Dralle (Steve) of Waverly and Sandi Renner of Waterloo; and his sister-in-law Diane Reinhardt (Gary) of Waverly.
Due to COVID 19 masks and social distancing are required at the church and cemetery.
