With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Nicholson of Waverly, Iowa, born in Sumner, Iowa, who passed away on November 4, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin H. Kuker and Ida M. Riffenberg Kuker; her former husband Harold Pritchard; her spouse Orren G. Nicholson; her stepmother Geri Kuker; her son Michael Nicholson; her granddaughter Kelly Nicholson; and her siblings, Robert, Larry Kuker and Gladys Peters.
She is survived by: her children, Marvin Kuker (Robyn) of Waverly, Debbie Mauldin (Kim) of Cedar Rapids, Ken Nicholson (Becky) of Waterloo and Dennis Nicholson (Gary) of Cedar Falls; and her siblings, Beverly Bolte of Cedar Falls and Jim Kuker (Nancy) of Waterloo. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
