He is survived by: his wife Michelle Spurgeon of Waverly; his children, Steven Spurgeon (Stephany) of Waterloo and Bethany Rommell (Jacob) of Cedar Falls; and his siblings, Steve Spurgeon of Iowa Falls, Rhonda Jackson of Mason City and Lavon Geiken (Myron) of Ackley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
