With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard John Arjes of Waverly, Iowa, who passed away on April 22, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Christian and Mildred Ruth Arjes (Richards); and his brothers, Roger and James. He is survived by: his wife Ann Shirley Walton; his children, Amy Gross (John) of Thornton and Michael John Arjes (Lauren) of Fairfax, Virginia; and his grandsons, Alec Gross, Carson Gross, John D. Arjes and Zachary Arjes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
