He was predeceased by: his parents, Geraldine Sprague and Geraldine Van Eman; and his stepfathers, Edwin Eckheart and Vance Van Eman. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Sprague of Waverly; his children, Lisa Miller (Mark) of Sumner and Mike Sprague (Robin) of Waverly; and his grandchildren, Eric Ziegler (Rebecca) of New Hope, Minnesota, Kristen Kenyon (Brad) of Ridgeway, Sarah Sprague of Dike, Daniel Sprague (Cassie) of Waverly and Kaitlyn Miller of Sumner. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home (218 2nd St SE, Waverly, IA 50677).

Memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation.
