He is survived by: his parents, Grace Mehmen (Arenholz) and Klaus Mehmen; his brothers, Jake Mehmen of Greene and Henry Mehmen of Shell Rock; and his grandchildren, Isaac, Eli, Sam, Elle, Nolan, Simon, Dennis, Ronda Happel, Brian Happel, Neil Happel (Deda), Kristin Happel, Derek Happel, Owen, Evan, Callen, Ethan, Tori, Prentice, Carolyn Happel and Charlie Johnson (Michelle). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
