He is survived by: his father Richard "Dick" Earl Shepherd, Jr. of Oelwein; his wife Michelle Ann McCulloch; his children, Kayla Ann Shepherd (Justin Ciesielski) of Denver, IA and Nicholas John Shepherd of Janesville, WI; and his brother Richard A. Shepherd of Ames, IA. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
