He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Litterer (Witt) and Theophil Benjamin Litterer; and his siblings, Ralph, Arnold (Yvonne), Lawrence (Annetta), Robert, Wilbur, Richard, Roger, Ruth Fisher (Lyle) and Hulda Fisher (Mark).
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Rev Kimberlee Law of New Castle, CO, Daniel Rustad (Kelly) of Waverly, IA and Christopher Rustad (Deb) of Tripoli; his grandchildren, Jessica (Will), Melissa (Wyatt), Kyle (Gabrielle), Grant, Amanda (Thomas) and Bailey; his sisters, Margaret Horengic (Carl) of Upper Marlboro, MD and Shirley Rottink (David) of Clarksville; and his siblings-in-law, Ardys, Sherry, Marjorie, Ida, Peggy and Ken Seversen (Andrea). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Grace Baptist Church (1110 4th St SW, Waverly, IA 50677). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
