With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul Dean Wente of Waverly, Iowa, who passed away on August 18, 2024 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Paul Dean Wente to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Wente and Agnes Wente (Musch); his brother Harold; and his sister-in-law Janice Wente. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Schafer of Waverly; his children, Michael Wente (Rachel Hohenstein) of Minneapolis, Minnesota, David Wente (Amanda) of Waverly and Sarah Wente (Jeremy Kuker) of Eagan, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Quinn and Max Wente; his children, Henry, Adele, Finnegan Wente, Emma, Noah and Ethan Kuker; and his brother Arlin Wente. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice, Delay the Disease, or Waverly Health Center Parkinsons Support Group.
