He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Wente and Agnes Wente (Musch); his brother Harold; and his sister-in-law Janice Wente. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Schafer of Waverly; his children, Michael Wente (Rachel Hohenstein) of Minneapolis, Minnesota, David Wente (Amanda) of Waverly and Sarah Wente (Jeremy Kuker) of Eagan, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Quinn and Max Wente; his children, Henry, Adele, Finnegan Wente, Emma, Noah and Ethan Kuker; and his brother Arlin Wente. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
