He is survived by: his children, Darby Cooper (Carol Verrett) of Houston, Texas and Jessica Carfrae (Spencer Warner) of Waverly; his stepchildren, Wendy Snelling (Patrick) and David Lahmann (Laura); and his siblings, Marlys Gaede (Jim) of Sumner, Marilyn Niedert (Harley) of Sumner, Marvin Cooper (Theresa) of Evansdale, Marlon Cooper (Mary Ann) of Vinton, Marjorie Cooper of Sumner, Mark Cooper (Sandy McDonald) of Cedar Falls and Matt Cooper of Spencer. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
