He is survived by: his former wife Anita Platten; his children, Katie (Nick Poppe) of Sumner, Kurt Fay of Denver and Kristie Fay of Waverly; his grandson Deklen Poppe; and his siblings, Joanne Huss (Bob) of Goodlettesville, TN, Frank Fay of McComb, IL, Christine Tibesar (Ed) of Cedar Rapids, James Fay (Barbara) of Waverly, John Fay (Joyce) of Waverly, Barbara Hageman (Jay) of Decorah and David Fay of Fredericksburg. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
