He is survived by: his wife Lois Trimble of Waverly; his daughter Kim Diercks (Dave) of Shell Rock; his grandchildren, Angela Richmann (Mike) of Waunakee, Wisconsin, Douglas Swinton of Shell Rock, Matthew Trimble (Jamie) of Waverly and Michael Trimble (Sarah) of Decorah; his great grandchildren, Mayah and Marshall Richmann; his grandchildren, Shay, Kaden Swinton, Izabella Trimble, Collyns Jordon, Lydia and Anna Trimble; his sister Beverly Allee of Belle Plaine; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Wiegmann (Bruce) of Madison, Wisconsin, Debbie Pittman (Tim) of Florida and Marlys Kleinschmidt of Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
