She is survived by: her parents, William Herman and Flora Paul Herman; her spouse Harry Cleveland; her children, Judith Sutherland of Iowa City, Jo Lynne Cleveland of Elgin and Jeffrey Cleveland (Donna) of Anthem; her grandchildren, Anne Sutherland, Jean Earl (Dan), Kathleen Warnock (Chris), Troy Cleveland (Roberta), Ian Sutherland (Chizuko), Trent Cleveland (Linda), Katherine Byers (Jay), Sara Minard and David Minard; her great grandchildren, Katie, Elizabeth, Robert, Brian, Jana (Luke), Timothy J., Sophie and Charlotte; her great great grandchild Penelope; her sister-in-law Carol Herman; her niece Kristin; and her nephew Fredric (Sandy).
