He was predeceased by: his parents, W. L. Remley and Emeline Remley (Youmans); his daughter Diane Dittmer; and his siblings, Lloyd, Harold, Walter, Gladys, Alice, Nettie, Anna and Gertrude.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Dittmer (Roth) of Waverly; and his children, Linda Nizzi (Joseph) of Lanesville, IN, Delbert Dittmer (Arnetta) of Tucson, AZ, Roger Dittmer (Carolee) of Fredericksburg, Vicky Bienemann (Keith) of Clarksville, David Remley of Cedar Falls, Pamela Sorenson (Steve) of Mishicot, WI and Marvin Dittmer (Donell) of Waverly. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
