He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leslie and Shirley; his cousin Ellerd; his grandson Arne; his wife Kathryn Olson of Waverly; his grandson Tom; his children, Mandy, Luke Olson (Kjellrun) of Champaign, Illinois, Amanda Hangge (Aaron) of Minneapolis and Hannah Klug (Jeff) of Eden Prairie, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Ana, Karl Olson, Roy Hangge, Eva and Lena Klug; his sister Marcia Hoffman (Glenn) of Alexandria, Minnesota; and his brother-in-law Ted Olson (Mary). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (301 1st St NW, Waverly, IA 50677). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
