She was predeceased by: her mother Opal Nichols (Stevenson); her husband James Stroud; her sister Sandra Brucher; her father Bill Nichols; and her brother Jim Nichols.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Pogwizd (Shawn), Sandra and Judy; her grandchildren, Nathan Lindeman of Waverly, IA, Alexis Prado (Matthew), Brayden Kelly (Sarah), Miranda (Julian), Anayra and Jordan Count (Christopher); and her sisters, Judy Buchan (Jerry) of Waterloo, IA, Rita Negus, Ilene Hitchcock (Jim), Diane Grapp (Steve) and Denise (Joe). She is also survived by 4 great-grand children.
