It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence F Knief (Waverly, Iowa), who passed away on January 20, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Knief and Anita Knief (Rathe); his wife Darlene Rose Foelske; his siblings-in-law, Orval Huebner, Ronald Foelske, Marvin Leisinger and LuAnn Leisinger; and also, Herman and Minnie Foelske (Steinberg).
He is survived by: his children, Robert Knief (Diane) of Des Moines, Debra Mack (Jeffrey) of Elgin and Kathy Thomas (Kenneth) of Fairbanks, Alaska; his grandchildren, Jonathan Mack (Min Dou), Elizabeth Mack, Cole Thomas, Anna Thomas and Seth Thomas; his sister Velma Huebner of Clarence; and his siblings-in-law, Duane Foelske (Sandy) of Waverly, Andrea Musselman (Robert) of Fort Collins, Colorado and Melodie Foelske of Janesville.
