He is survived by: his wife Grace Doepke of Waverly; his children, Diane Niebuhr (Mark) of Blairstown, Joan Phillips (Roy) of Henderson, Perry Fails (Lisa) of Watertown and Nancy Henry (Jayson) of Pella; his grandchildren, Johanna Powers (Niebuhr), Ariel Niebuhr, Moriah Helwig (Niebuhr), Caleb, Casey, Lydia Fails, Camille, Colin, Clayton and Carlyn Henry; his great grandchildren, Selah, Levi and Eden Powers; his sister Joanne Tefft (Bob) of Cedar Falls; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Fails of Denver, Viola Fails of Denver, Sherlie Doepke of Troy and Pat Doepke of Bartlett, Illinois..
