He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Rosa Minnie Carolina Hoeper (Rodemeyer); his sister Elnora Fasse; and his brothers-in-law, Larry DeBruyn and Victor Fasse.
He is survived by: his significant other Carol Moore; his children, Jackie Paulsen of Spencer, Steve Hoeper of Columbia and Allen Hoeper (Penny) of Waverly; his grandchildren, Lisa Reyes (Jose), Nicole Austin (Derek), Preston Paulsen (Ciara), Roger Hoeper and Michael Hoeper (Abby Cox); his great grandchildren, Kennedy, Lincoln, Monroe Reyes, Jethro, Scottlyn Austin, Hazel, Harrison Paulsen and Olive Hoeper; and his sister Marlene DeBruyn of Lenexa. He is also survived by many niece and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home (218 2nd St SE, Waverly, IA 50677). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's United Church of Christ – Siegel Rural (415 4th St SW, Waverly, IA 50677).
