He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Kafer and Evelyn Kafer (Rosenow). He is survived by: his wife Sally Kafer (Roe); his children, Brian Kafer (Lisa Smith) of Plainfield, Brad Kafer (Ann) of Peru and Jeanne Ulrichs (John) of Dyersville; his grandchildren, Trent Kafer (Heidi), Alyssa Kafer, Benjamin Kafer (Katie), William Kafer, Gabe Ulrichs (Ashley Costello) and Natalie Ulrichs; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Oliver, Brookes Kafer, Eleanor Tubbs, Brooks and James Kafer; and his siblings, Judy Haar (Darrell) of Ft. Meyers, FL, Roger Kafer of Gurnee, IL and David Kafer.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Bartels Good Shepherd Chapel (1922 5th Ave NW, Waverly, IA 50677). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
