With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Ray Heerts of Waverly, Iowa, born in Grundy Center, Iowa, who passed away on October 20, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Heerts and Alice Heerts (Franken); and his wife Virginia Van Raden. He is survived by: his children, Terry Heerts of Waterloo, Iowa, Debra Leymaster of Cedar Falls and Tammy Ingersoll (Steve) of Waverly, Iowa; and his sister Virginia Hammer of Nebraska. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren.
